A tremendous result for the Wealden and Summerdale show team at the South of England show on the May bank holiday, winning a colour championship, 2 reserve championships, 5 firsts, 2 seconds and 2 thirds.

Wealden Versace Midnight stole the show for us, winning Black Male Champion as a senior entry, amongst stiff competition from the Intermediates and Juniors.  He was much appreciated by the Judges in the black classes and was given a third inspection before the final  decision for Best of British Huacaya.

Versace was also chosen to have his photo taken with Mr Charles Moore, President of the South of England Agricultural Society.

Versace was one of only 4 alpacas in the Supreme Huacaya Championship that had been bred outside of the major UK alpaca breeders herds.  He proved a great hit with the family of the special guest Natasha Kaplinski, receiving much attention and praise after the Supreme prize giving.
